Fireworks
It was the day of beautiful lights up in the sky. It was Guy Fawkes. My little siblings were excited. I wasn’t really excited because I was just worried about my ears. Farringdon and Paddington Streets were noted to make the loudest noise.
My mum and dad came with a big bag of fireworks yesterday. It was the size of a potato bag. We left the bag outside, on the picnic table. Our neighbour was smoking. She tapped the cigarette and threw it on the ground. As she did that, the ashes from her cigarette floated buy and landed on the bag. The bag was burning. Ten seconds later it exploded into a million pieces. My dad and I ran outside and saw the table. It was on fire.
My dad said,“Oh no!”
“ What are we going to do?”I asked.
My dad stayed quiet. My mum popped outside and scratched her head.
My mum said,“ Oh wow that was a waste of money.”
My dad and I went to places where fireworks were sold, but they were all sold out. It was 5:30 and the people on my street already started bursting the fireworks. It was loud. My ears were ringing. Nearly all the houses were lighting fireworks. We came home with no fireworks.
This car came to our house. I recognised that car. It was my cousin. They came with fireworks.
I asked my cousin, “What are you doing here?”
“ We came to celebrate Guy Fawkes with you.” My cousin replied.
It was 8:30 and we lit the fireworks and we saw the beautiful lights. The sound of the fireworks was loud as a bomb. Bang, bang, bang went the fireworks.
The theme is to never smoke because it will lead to death.

Halloween
Halloween is the scariest event in the year
It makes me fill up with fear
Every kid with a mask
I can’t take this task
We go to a house and knock on the door
We say trick or treat but they just roar
I have a basket full of treats
So I keep on knocking on doors in the streets.
