Wylie

Wylie lived in ancient Egypt. Wylie was waiting for the sand storm to die down so he could go hunting for food. He thought about what to eat, a fish from the Nile river, a juicy lizard, a slithering snake, a plump or even a furry fennec fox. When Wylie flew up in the sky, Wylie saw a lizard but when he scored down to catch it, it ran away between big rocks. Wylie sat on the top of a pyramid and he was starving. He got hungrier and hungrier.

Wylie was soaring through the skies looking for food but he saw sand from the sand storm. Wylie sat on a pyramid and looked at the people. Wylie saw a fish from the from the Nile river and he flew down and caught it. And he ate it and he wasn't hungry any more.

Coordinates

Coordinates is the exact position. The Y axis is the line that goes vertical and the X axis goes horizontal. The easy part was to find out where the circle is. There was no hard part in this game, I just found it easy. The answer is 0,-4. What I want to learn next is how to multiply and divide fractions.

The best time to do things is when you are bored and you could play outside.

Converting Decimals

 
The answer is 0.125. I am doing the basic facts. The walt is Finding equivalent ratios by identifying common factors and express them as fractions and percentages. This was testing me how to convert fractions into decimals. I knew the answer because I knew what is 1/4 written in a decimal and I added a 0 at the end of 0.25 and it looks like this 0.250 and half of that is 0.125 and that is equal to 1/8.

Thoth

Thoth is an ancient Egyptian Myth. The people in the story are Thoth, Shu, Nut and Geb. Nut fell in love with Geb. Shu was jealous of Nut and Geb. The problem was Shu turned Nut into the sky and Shu turned Gen into the earth. Shu cursed Nut to never give birth to a baby in 360 days. The resolution was that Thoth created five more days so  Nut could have a baby. That is how we have 365 days now. The Egyptian calendar had 360 days but after the 5 extra days were created it had 365 days.

My island of Paradise

My island of Paradise

On my island there will be lots of people. My island will be two times bigger than New Zealand.

My island will have a zoo with all of the animals. The animals will be kind to you and the meat eaters will not eat humans.

I will have restaurant everywhere. Instead of cars I will have motorbikes.  It will have pool bigger than the rugby field. There will be lifeguards on duty every day. There will be a waterpark with slides that are awesome.

My island will be divided into two parts. One part will have snow on it and the other will be hot. On my island everything is free. It’s even free to come here on a plane. I am not wealthy.

If this was true I would be there right now living there and I will be happy.
